Ian and I have been playing various games over the past couple months such as Yahtzee Monopoly and Mastermind.
As much as we both love each other, we play to win. lol
I had this really interesting experience with yahtzee that I wanted to share with you because it really exemplifies key principles in regards to manifesting what you desire.
If you have never played Yahtzee before, essentially you roll 5 dice, and aim to have certain combinations of the dice show up to get points. the person with the most points at the end wins.
Yahtzee occurs when you have rolled the same number on all 5 dice. And this is the largest score you can get in one roll.
And often, when you roll a Yahtzee, you win, just because of the large score.
Now I’ve been experimenting with energy & manifestation for years and I wanted to apply these principles that I’ve learned to playing Yahtzee with Ian.
So at the very beginning of the game, I got into a state of relaxation, fun, flow and ease.
I set my intention that I would roll the highest score, win and have so much fun doing so.
Midway through the game, Ian rolled a Yahtzee.
Uh-Oh!
Now the old me would have thrown in the towel and admitted defeat.
However the new me had a new strategy.
I pulled my attention, intention and energy inwards.
I focused on feeling love, enthusiasm and fun….all while being present.
I was not concerned about what Ian was doing,
As I had this trust, confidence and certainty that whatever he rolled, had NO influence on what I rolled and if I would win the game.
I was not persuaded by my external reality.
At the same time, I also knew that in every single roll, although the probability was lower, I STILL had the possibility of rolling a Yahtzee myself to win the game.
And I stayed in this energy.
I was being and acting as if I had already done it.
Now, something crazy happened. I really started to have some amazing rolls of the dice.
Like I was racking up points.
Yet, still no Yahtzee.
At the end of the game it came down to one roll….and I was ONE dice off of rolling a Yahtzee.
It was SO WILD.
We were both on the edge of our seats.
Now….that’s not even the crazy bit…
You see there is this rule in Yahtzee, if you roll a certain amount of points in the top section, you actually get an additional 35 points.
And guess what…I DID!!!
I couldn’t believe it!
This was the FIRST time someone had rolled a Yahtzee and didn’t win the game.
I couldn’t believe it.
I had intended to win,
put all of my energy and focus on winning.
and I did.
And here’s the ultimate lesson…it wasn’t how I expected.
It was completely different….a way I didn’t even think was a possibility.

>>Set a strong intention
>>FOCUS your attention on what you desire
>>do NOT give up, keep going, even when it looks like you’re “losing”
>>focus on feeling love, fun, joy, inspiration
>>don’t allow the external environment, what you currently see to shift what you think is possible and shift your game plan
>>don’t focus on the HOW….as this will likely end up SURPRISING you in a way you never would have predicted
>>and most of all, turn INWARDS…that is where the magic is
