One of the things I have noticed when people go after what they want and what they prefer
is that they often only focus on the creation side of what they want
the outcome
the result
the building
the forming
the moulding
the accomplishment
they often tend to *forget* the destruction phase of creation
how things will change
how things will disrupt
how things will move and shake
how some stuff will never been the sameand this can keep them stuck
it can keep them playing small
because they are scared consciously, or unconsciously…
of the destruction
they are scared of the change
they are scared of what people might think
they are scared of what people might say
they are scared they just might not feel safe in this “new skin”
they are scared of letting go
if they say YES.
yes to what’s inside
yes to the *big* leap of faith
yes to their dream job
yes to their soulmate partner
because at the same time, they are also saying no
they are saying no to the values that no longer align
they are saying no to the actions that no longer align
they are saying no to the places and spaces that no longer align
they are saying no to the people who no longer align
and that can feel like a great loss
this change creates disruption.
and that can be scary
and that can completely halt progress into stepping into more of what they want
and this keeps them stuck
to truly embrace creation
we MUST embrace destruction
we must embrace the challenge
we must embrace the change
this is where we will find momentum
You don’t have to look far to see how creation and destruction plays out in nature…
with the seasons,
birth and death of plants an animals
Whenever we are saying Yes,
We are also simultaneously saying No.
In every creation there is destruction
in every destruction there is creation.
yin.
yang.
yes.
no.
What are you saying yes to?
