If you’re feeling fatigued, exhausted & tired… READ THIS:

Last night I felt so tired, almost as if my body was processing a virus or something,

My neck felt off,

My body felt like a ton of bricks,

I definitely KNEW something was up.

All I wanted to do was lay down, rest and sleep.

Which was weird, because….

I have been exercising, getting sleep, and eating well. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Now the old me, would have taken a vitamin C and gone straight to bed,

and prepared for the worse. Ugh. I hate not feeling well. 

However, I have learned over the past few years, to tune into the feedback I am getting from my body,

So I got curious.

Now there is a lot going on in the background of my life right now,

As I prepare to head back to Canada to visit my family (which I am so excited for!)

There was a lot of unexpressed sadness that came up about leaving Ian here in Aus, with an unknown timeline of when we will see each other next. 

And lately, what’s interesting, I’ve noticed is that when I have unexpressed sadness,

I feel lethargic, fatigued, almost “sick-like”,

My neck even “goes out”.

So I tuned in, and sure enough,

I naturally just started to cry.

I sobbed, wept, cried….fully released the tears.

The aftermath was 4 *full* kleenexes on the side of the bed lol. 

And what happened next might surprise you…

I literally had a burst of energy,

I was wide awake, 

I felt as if I just slept 8 hours,

and I was ready to go.

All my symptoms were GONE.

like legit, I could have ran sets of stairs at 10 PM at night after a full day of work. 

However I didn’t.

It was nighttime, so I went to bed. Needless to say, I had a pretty restless sleep, as I literally had so much energy coursing through me.

Next time, I may do the stairs as an option lol. 

However I woke up today feeling refreshed and ready to go.

Now you might be thinking, “why is that?’

Here’s what I’ve discovered and come to believe…

when we experience emotions, and we do not express them,

they get stored and “stuck” in our physiology & body and can create symptoms of “dis-ease”.

This may show up as symptoms such as fatigue, tension, pain, headaches, nausea, cramps….and so on and so forth. 

And we often use a lot of our energy, to keep repressing actually feeling the emotions.

And this for our body, is just legit TIRING.

And we feel exhausted. Tired. Heavy. You name it. It just feels Yuck.

I’ve worked with clients that used to believe…

“crying makes me weak”,

“big boys don’t cry”,

“I won’t be able to achieve my goals if I become too emotional”

or…

“I’m ugly when I cry”…..

and they ALL HAD PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS.

Their body was giving them feedback that something HAD TO CHANGE.

Now don’t get me wrong, I believe physical (exercise, movement, injuries) and chemical (nutrition, toxins etc) stressors can ALSO create symptoms of dis-ease. Of course. 

However, to put it bluntly….you gotta deal with your emotional BS if you want to experience vitality long term. 

And your emotional BS is often arm in arm with some unhelpful beliefs….such as said beliefs above. 

And the challenge with these beliefs, is that…

As humans, we ALL FEEL EMOTIONS.

It’s natural.

Completely normal.

AND IT WILL CONTINUE TO HAPPEN.

So why wouldn’t we just deal with them? 

If you’re reading this, maybe you’ve also been taught to believe that you are an inconvenience when you cry.

And maybe this stops you from expressing your emotion.

From “not being too much”

Or, just trying to fit in.

But what if things could be different?

What if crying just meant you were releasing chemistry that was made up and stored in the body,

and it didn’t mean anything about you,

your worth,

how manly or how womanly you are,

or if you will achieve your dreams.

or anything else for that matter.

And what if, when you released your emotions, the build-up of chemistry,

you were actually stronger.

healthier,

had more vitality, energy and “gusto” in your step. If that’s what you desire. 

Well what if this were actually true?

I believe it is.

I believe that when we feel, we release stored, stuck emotions and energy that is negatively impacting the vitality of our system,

and that trying to NOT feel, is exhausting and creates MORE symptoms over time

and that feeling does not have to be hard, bad or ugly.

it can just be simply what it is.

and then once done, you can get on with your day,

or your sleep,

or whatever else you were planning to do,

what if it were that simple,

what if you didn’t need to make a big deal out of feeling an emotion?

because at the end of the day, emotions are JUST SENSATIONS ON THE BODY.

That’s it.

what if you could literally get rid of your fatigue,

get rid of your exhaustion,

all by tuning into you?

and seeing what you need?

easy-peasy.
