You may not like to hear this,
I didn’t when I first heard it,
However, NO ONE can make you feel angry.
No one.
Not your inconsiderate neighbour,
Not your unappreciative spouse,
Not your ungrateful kids,
Not your rude boss,
Not your mother-in-law
Not even the cat down the road.
NO ONE can make you feel angry.
The anger is actually IN YOU.
And you might be thinking,
“…BUT they CAUSED me to get angry!”
“…Dr. Shelby, you don’t know my mother-in-law, you wouldn’t even be able to stand her either!!!”
“…But Dr. Shelby, my boss, treats me like absolute garbage!! YOU would feel angry too!”
Ok, I got it,
I hear you.
Let’s get curious for a moment, okay?
Let’s talk about happiness, and gratitude…
Have you ever been around someone who was feeling sad,
and there was just NOTHING you could do or say to cheer them up?
They were feeling sad, period.
And there was nothing you were gunna do that would change that.
So here’s a question…. if you can’t make someone feel happy,
Can you make them feel angry?
Or even any other emotion for that matter?
Or another example….
What if, you were TRYING to make someone feel angry…maybe you were feeling angry too
And no matter what you did to bother said person,
they were so unaffected by your attempts,
that it actually made you MORE angry, because the mission “make them angry”, didn’t work at all
So then comes the most important question…
Can you really make anyone feel anything?
We’ve been taught to believe that people, events and situations make us feel a particular way…sadness, fear, and anger…etc etc
yet for every situation someone experiences and becomes angry,
someone else could be neutral. Feel absolutely nothing.
Someone else may even feel sad. Another person may feel relief, even grateful for the experience.
There are a million and one different responses to any situation.
So what if your emotions were based on and impacted by your perceptions and beliefs?
Essentially the lens in which you view life.
And what if ALL emotions that you experience are INSIDE of you?
Profound thought right? lol,
And actually makes kind of sense doesn’t it?
And what if all of your red hot trigger buttons…..for anger, sadness and fear…
ARE IN YOU.
And what if, you could remove those trigger buttons and literally become….Unf*ckwithable,
And instead of being reactive to the outside world,
Constantly being in the swing of emotions based on what happens in your day,
And what your boss said to you,
You have more sovereignty over your inner state,
You can CHOOSE how you feel,
You can CHOOSE how you perceive your life,
You can basically CHOOSE to feel free,
Peace of mind,
Abundance,
Love,
Happiness.
And even Joy.
What would that be like for you if you had just even a *little* more control over how you feel?
How would your life change?
How would your relationships change…
with your boss,
your mother-in-law
your weird cousin,
and even the cat down the road.
What then becomes possible for you?
What would it be like if you took full responsibility for how YOU feel,
and no longer pass the blame to anyone else?
What actions would you take knowing that you are no longer handcuffed by your fears?
What bold move would you make knowing you reaaaaally want to make it, yet haven’t because of how scared you felt.
If you want to learn what I believe to be the most efficient and effective ways to dissolve you trigger buttons,
dissolve your emotions…anger, sadness, fear…
and shift your beliefs and lens in which you view life…
Apply to work with me one on one
you will love it.
P.S Also, for those who are into quantum physics…here’s a cool question I also came across, that I absolutely LOVE and apply daily…
You may have said before….
“My expenses and debt make me feel anxious…”
What if it was actually your anxiety that created your expenses and debt?
Or
“My (insert dis-ease) makes me feel sad and angry”
What if it was your sadness and anger that reflected dis-ease in your body?
What if everything in your “external” environment was and IS a reflection of you?
What if it wasn’t cause and effect, and more accurately a mirror reflection, happening simultaneously?
What if your entire life was directly reflecting back everything you think and believe and know to be true about yourself and others…the vast majority of which is hidden in your unconscious?
And what if by becoming aware of your suppressed emotions and beliefs you could change your external reality?
Your life?
Cool right?
Soooo cool.
Apply to work with me, it’s fun AF.
